Most of the poems collected here began as idle thoughts or phrases that, for whatever reason, I simply couldn’t shake. Soon I learned the only way to rid them was to develop them. With some poems, I try to find a deeper meaning in things. In most cases, though, I'm just capturing a special moment in time.
