A native of Massachusetts, John Cacciatore has been writing professionally for the better part of two decades. He began as a beat reporter, publishing articles in local newspapers and magazines, before transitioning to a successful freelance career. John has produced print advertisements, radio and television commercials, product brochures, sales campaigns and other work for clients such as New England Sports Network, Harley-Davidson, Boston University, Cognex and Walt Disney.
Additionally John founded and ran a sports event marketing business for eight years in the Boston area, working directly with non-profit organizations and the area’s professional sports franchises. He also wrote and starred in a recurring sports comedy bit on WZLX-FM.
Today John works in communications for Mercury Computer Systems. He also manages and performs in The X-BAND, a rhythm and blues group which he also founded. John and his wife enjoy traveling, zip-lining and rooting for the Boston Celtics.
