A native of Massachusetts, John Cacciatore has been writing professionally for the better part of two decades. He began as a beat reporter, publishing articles in local newspapers and magazines, before transitioning to a successful freelance career. John has produced print advertisements, radio and television commercials, product brochures, sales campaigns and other work for clients such as New England Sports Network, Harley-Davidson, Boston University, Cognex and Walt Disney.
Additionally John founded and ran a sports event marketing business for eight years in the Boston area, working directly with non-profit organizations and the area’s professional sports franchises. He also wrote and starred in a recurring sports comedy bit on WZLX-FM.
Today John works in communications for Raytheon Company, one of the world's premier defense contractors. At Raytheon, he also founded, manages and performs in the company's first internal musical group, a blues act known as The X-BAND. John and his wife enjoy traveling, white water rafting and rooting for the Boston Celtics.
